You have finally kicked the smoking habit and have switched to vape for the long haul. A big deal since you were a pack a day smoker. You are super excited because you have waited all spring for summer to arrive and your much needed vacation on your grandparents farm in Iowa.
The tougher thing is you have spent countless dollars scouring online vape juice retailers like this website to find your favorite juice and you are almost certain that you will not be able to find this juice in the small town your father was born because the town is only 5,000 people. It is a very unnerving thing to not be able to have your trusty vape juice with you at all times during your vacation. Especially coming from a pack a day smoker, the tantalizing juice is very important to even the very basic goings on in life.
My favorite currently is the American Patriots juice by Naked 100. It is a full bodied classic tobacco flavored vape. It has very distinct notes and it is just a really really tasty vape. I used to vape the Ruthless Coffee Tobacco, and it was also a great tasting vape. I have since stopped drinking coffee, so I can’t have that coffee flavor in my mouth for fear I will be returning to that cup of joe.
But the question still remains that I needed to see if I could take this juice on the plane or not. After sifting through some listing on google, I came across the official site for the TSA, the Transportation Security Administration that is an agency of the US Department of Homeland Security that has authority over the security of the traveling public in the United States.
A quick glance at the TSA guidelines shows that vape juice is permitted in carry-on bags as long as it complies with TSA liquid regulations and is less than 3.4 ounces or 100 ml. Those regulations include packing as many of those 3.4 ounce bottles or smaller into a quart sized ziplock bag.
Of course, you need to take the ziplock bag out of your carry-on prior to sending it through the X ray machine at the airport. That means, you can carry a lot of vape juice in that bag and just buy the other toiletries including hair gel or toothpaste when you arrive. Thus, the answer is yes. You can carry vape juice on the airplane.
You just treat it as any other liquid and as long as you follow TSA protocol involving the transport of those liquids, you should be fine. If you do want to carry more however, you should consider carrying that juice in your checked-in luggage. I myself will be carrying 180 ml of the Naked 100 American Patriots juice in a ziplock bag and proudly show it to the TSA agent and their scanning machine before I get through the security terminal. Now, I just hope that I will have enough juice for the entire trip.
